How I prepped for this coming week.

I have a certain steps that I take when I plan. It involves colored highlighters, time blocking, checking my digital calendar and plugging those in, then filling out the details of what goes in the time blocks.

Once I reviewed the calendar I realized something:

Some days I have a lot of task switching on the docket. When I work, I do marketing materials for a contract I have then I do the coaching business. I’m also in the middle of redoing my funnel-which I’m excited about!

But there’s a lot of mental movement that has to happen. As I continued to think about the week I began to write.

The Passion Planner has an area called the “Space of Infinite Possibility” (this is registered to the company). I jotted this down:

“This week is a little chopped up in my business days because of wanting to do an hour four times a week for PPC. I may need to be more strategic with my breaks since my brain will need to switch tasks more often from Coaching, CAG, and PPC. This will be a kindness to my brain.”

Planning is not just a way to see what you have to do, It’s a way to understand how to do it and treat your brain well.

Planning is a kindness to your mind, dumping all the things making room for it to focus more on your priorities. Planning gives you a chance to plan for breaks, intentional grounding, and processing. Planning doesn’t have to make you anxious, it can be the key to relieving those anxious feelings.

I hope this helps love. Do you think you can plan to support yourself as you look at your schedule and to-do list? Let me know in the comments.
